New Era x Spike Lee 1996 Collection

New Era teams up with seminal American filmmaker Spike Lee on the “1996″ collection. The resulting offerings celebrate Lee’s unusual request in 1996, in which he asked New Era CEO Chris Koch for a scarlet Yankees cap. Koch happily complied and Lee was seen wearing the unorthodox hat during a World Series game. The “1996″ collection is a tribute to the historic event and consists of four exclusive caps. Look for all four beginning July 17 at select European retailers such as Caliroots.

The Black Scale x FTC Capsule Collection

The Black Scale x FTC Capsule Collection was based around the American author, occultist, musician and founder of the Church of Satan as well as the author of The Satanic Bible, Anton LaVey.

We designed this Capsule Collection after Anton LaVey because of his history in San Francisco. Both Black Scale and FTC are from San Francisco and it only made sense for the two brands to get together and do something “For The City”.

San Francisco has a rich history and we could’ve picked something more predictable but we went with something that the audience wouldn’t expect when you think of a Black Scale x FTC collaboration. This collaboration is very special to us and being able to collaborate with one of the original skate shops from San Francisco is one for the books.

The Black Scale x FTC Capsule Collection will release June 28th, 2014 at FTC San Francisco, FTC Tokyo, Black Scale New York, Black Scale Los Angeles and Calioors.com

aididas Originals presents: Caliroots Swap Meet 2014

This is the 8th year we do the Stockholms Sneaker Swap Meet and the second time at Trägården. This year we started of with a gray sky and some rain but the longer the day and evening went the better and we got that sunshine in the end. Basketball, pinball, Reebok Pump Challenge, Beerpong and shoes and street wear yes we had it all so thanks to everyone that made it a success and hope to se you next year!

His collaboration with New York-diva Shyvonne delivered a euphoric house sound inspired by the early rave scene of the UK. Kingdom’s relationship with the UK dance scene hit it off when he was on the bill at the Night Slugs Collective‘s second club night.
